How are you?
Thank you for checking out my newsletter, and I invite you to subscribe and comment along the way. But before you do that, here’s a quick view into what it’s all about.
I’ve learned over the past few years, thanks in large part to having more time and fewer commitments, that I have so much more to learn. It started with a simple meditation practice and reading a book on philosophy in 2020, and after some inspiration by some amazing people who I’m sure I’ll talk lots about (Rich Roll, Michael Gervias, and Andy Puddicombe to name a few) I’m on a path that I didn’t think was possible for someone like me - a pretty normal guy from Nebraska.
I write about navigating family, career, and self, while trying to understand how to live well for the long haul - for myself, and for those I care about, and in hopes that it helps others know they can do the same.
Think of this as me sharing my notes - what’s working well for me personally, and what’s not - so you can think about what you want to try for yourself. I plan to send newsletter updates on Fridays, with a few random ideas thrown in from time to time.
Also, apologies in advance - I did adopt a plant-based diet and stopped drinking alcohol, so I am not always the life of the party. So if you’re into chickpeas, tofu, and NA beers as well (or at least somewhat curious), you should subscribe too.
